The Wasl secures a victory over Emirates Club, taking the lead in the ADNOC Pro League.
The match between Al-Wasl and Emirates Club ended with a 2-0 victory for the Emperor in the game held at the Emirates Stadium, as part of the 14th round of the ADNOC Pro League.
Al-Wasl started aggressively, seeking an early goal and dominating the match. However, Swiss player Haris Seferovic faced unfortunate moments in more than one opportunity. Nevertheless, in the 38th minute, Haris seized a rebound from Emirates goalkeeper Saud Hassan, passing it to Fabio De Lima in the penalty area. With a single touch, De Lima placed it into the net, allowing the Yellow Team to finish the 1st half in the lead.
The events of the 2nd half didn't differ significantly, and Al-Wasl continued pressing to score a 2nd goal. In the 55th minute, a splendid cross from Gimenez, untouched by everyone, reached the Korean player Seung, who confidently placed it into the net, strengthening the Emperor's lead.
