In response to the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, to adopt the Dubai Child Protection Protocol, which aims to provide an integrated and comprehensive environment for protection and social care, focusing on the child and family by providing high-quality specialized services that add value and proactively meet the aspirations of the people of Dubai and its residents to ensure their well-being at all stages of their lives, Al Wasl Club and the Emirates Child Protection Association have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance the club’s social responsibility, promote a culture of child protection, and educate players and parents about children's rights and duties.

The signing took place in the presence of Mr. Abdul Nasser Al Shamsi, General Manager of Al Wasl Club, and Counselor Faisal Al Shammari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Child Protection Association.

Al Wasl Club also affirms its commitment to the directives of the wise leadership and its endeavor, through this partnership, to serve the community, especially children, who represent the future of the nation and the foundation of its development, by providing them with a suitable and safe environment to practice sports activities, protecting them from any abuse or exploitation, and ensuring proper upbringing that places them on the right path to become the builders of the nation and the foundation of its progress and prosperity.
