In the second half, Al Wasl intensified their pressure on Al Gharafa, and Fabio Lima succeeded in bringing the Emperor back into the game with a goal in the 84th minute from a penalty. Substitute Isaac Success scored the winning goal for Al Wasl in the 92nd minute of the match after a precise cross into the Al Gharafa penalty area from Alexis Perez.
