Al Wasl Club’s men's athletics team claimed the Athletics Union Cup title after a standout performance in a tournament featuring several clubs from across the UAE.
The "Emperor" athletes delivered dominant displays throughout the competition, showcasing their determination and hunger for victory by securing eight gold medals, eight silver medals, and one bronze.
Al Wasl’s athletes achieved the following results:
100m sprint: Gold for Ali Mohammed Jassim and bronze for Naseeb Salmeen Saeed.
400m hurdles: Gold for Kieron Mort Guido.
Discus throw: Gold for Simon Brodev and silver for Ahmed Ali Hassan.
Saud Jumaa Jassim captured gold in both the 1500m and 800m events.
Shot put: Gold for Simon Brodev and silver for Ahmed Ali Hassan.
High jump: Gold medal for Matvey Titchenkin.
In the 4x100m relay, the team of Naseeb Salmeen Saeed, Ali Mohammed Jassim, Mahdi Ashraf Suleiman, and Moussa Khalfan clinched the gold medal.
