The first football team of Al Wasl Club has finalized its preparations to face Al Rayyan tomorrow, Monday, December 2, at 8:00 PM UAE time at Zabeel Stadium in the sixth round of the AFC Champions League Elite for the 2024-2025 season.

In the pre-match press conference, the team’s coach, Milos Milojevic, stated:“Yes, we have a great opportunity to achieve two consecutive wins in the AFC Champions League, but we are fully aware of Al Rayyan's strength. Their position in the standings requires us to approach them with full seriousness.”

He added:“I believe it is crucial to continue delivering the good performance and organization we’ve shown in recent matches and to give it our all, especially in front of our home fans here.”

For his part, Fabio De Lima also spoke about the upcoming match against Al Rayyan, expressing confidence in Al Wasl players’ readiness to compete. He emphasized that a win would be a significant step toward advancing to the next stages, saying:“This match is very important for us. We know that Al Rayyan came here with the goal of winning and improving their position in the standings, but we also have a chance to grab three points and qualify for the next round".

He continued:“In recent matches, we’ve performed well, and I believe we have a great opportunity to win tomorrow. Our team is strong, and I’m confident that we can secure the three points and progress in the competition. I’ve scored four goals recently, which has boosted my confidence, and I want to transfer this confidence to the Al Wasl team".
