The first football team of Al Wasl held its final training session at Zabeel Stadium in preparation for their match against Baniyas at Baniyas Stadium in the second leg of the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup quarterfinals, scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, December 30.
The team’s coach, Milos Milojevic, spoke during the pre-match press conference about the team's preparations for the game, stating:"Our preparations aim to deliver a better performance than we did in the previous match. I believe there were moments when we were not disciplined enough."
He continued:"They have shown that they are a team we must respect, as we discussed before the match. Therefore, I think we need to start the game as if the score is 0-0, focus on playing, and not think about anything else."

He praised the quality of Baniyas players, saying:"They have high-quality players like Niakate and Markovic, who play at a high level and can score at any moment. For this reason, I think it is important for us to stay focused from the first minute to the last."

For his part, player Takashi Uchino spoke about the match, considering the victory in the first leg a good motivation for the team in the second leg. He noted that the team continues to work hard to achieve victory and secure a spot in the tournament's semifinals.
