As part of Matchweek 20 of the ADNOC Pro League, Al Wasl defeated Al Jazira 5-0 at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium.

Al Wasl started the match strongly, and in the 6th minute, Joao Pedro opened the scoring after a powerful shot from Siaka Sidibe rebounded off the Al Jazira's goalkeeper, which Pedro followed up into the net.

Just before the end of the first half, Jonatas Santos scored Al Wasl’s second goal in the first minute of added time.

In the second half, Al Wasl continued to dominate and Joao Pedro scored twice in the 64th and 72nd minutes, completing a hat-trick against Al Jazira.

In the 81st minute, substitute Tahnoon Al Zaabi sealed the fifth goal for Al Wasl with a powerful left-footed shot from outside the penalty area.
