Al Wasl Club has announced the completion of procedures for the transfer of Emirati winger Jonathas Santos on a one-season loan from Al Ain.

The 22-year-old Santos began his football career with Brazilian team Fluminense, playing for them from 2014 to 2019. He then joined Al Ain's Under-21 team from 2019 to 2022, with a loan spell at Hatta during the 2019-2020 season.

Santos won the league title with Al Ain in the 2021-2022 season, the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup in the 2022-2023 season, and the AFC Champions League in the 2023-2024 season.
