In The Etihad Cup , group 2, preliminary round, week 2, held at Shabab Al Ahli Al Nahda Hall, Al Wasl men's volleyball team won  with a score of 3-1 against Ajman. 
The Round's Results were as follows: 
First set: Al Wasl 25 - Ajman 16
Second set: Al Wasl 19 - Ajman 25
Third set: Al Wasl 25 - Ajman 17
Fourth set: Al Wasl 25 - Ajman 20
