The Emperor Concludes Preparations for Shabab Al Ahli match in the UAE President’s Cup Semi-Final

Al Wasl’s first football team players completed their final training session ahead of their match against Shabab Al Ahli tomorrow, Wednesday, April 2nd, at Al Maktoum Stadium in Al Nasr Club, as part of the semi-finals of the UAE President’s Cup.

Before the match, Milos Milojevic spoke about the team's preparations, saying:
"The match against Shabab Al Ahli means a lot to me and the club. It is the match of the season for us because it is played in a tournament that carries the name of the symbol of sovereignty and leadership of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. Al Wasl is also the titleholder from last year."

He added:
"The match will not be easy; it is one of the toughest games Al Wasl will play this season against a strong opponent who has consistently performed well."

He continued:
"Shabab Al Ahli has players with great abilities and a well-equipped technical staff. These factors require us to play with high focus. Our team is also not to be underestimated, as we have a squad composed of the best players in the UAE, capable of winning matches regardless of the difficulty if luck is on our side."

He concluded:
"I hope to see our fans in the stands supporting the team and helping us accomplish the mission successfully."

For his part, team captain Ali Saleh said:
"The match will be tough, but we will fight to secure victory and bring joy to our fans, who have been patient with us throughout this season. Our supporters are used to victories and titles, but the lack of success in some matches this season has caused the team to decline slightly. However, we are capable of rising again and returning to the right path."

He ended by saying:
"The UAE President’s Cup holds a special place for everyone, especially for us, since we won it last season. We must defend this title."
