Al Wasl defeated their guest Al Jazira with two goals to none in the first leg of the Round of sixteen of Emirates cup under twenty one years.
The Emperor's goals were scored by Rodrigue Lody Mwinyi and Saif Nasser Abdullah.
Al Wasl will face Al Jazira in the return leg of the competition on Friday, November 8, at Al Jazira Club's Sub Stadium No. 1.
It is worth mentioning that the competition includes, in addition to Al Wasl, the teams of Fujairah, Gulf United, Hatta, Al Nasr, Al Jazira, Sharjah, and Al Dhafra.
