Two delegations from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) ,and the United Arab Emirates Football Association (UAEFA) visited the football academy at Al Wasl club.
This visit comes within the AFC’s efforts to monitor and evaluate the UAEFA development programs for elite Asian club academies,and reviewing the efforts of UAE clubs in football talents development and growth.
During the visit, the strategies applied by the club's academy management to improve the level of local football were discussed, in addition to enhancing training standards at the continental level .
The visit included an inspection of the sports facilities, including the pitches and training centers. 
During the visit ,the delegations observed some of the training sessions and attended a part of the academy's matches. 
They praised the technical and administrative performance of the Al Wasl Club Academy ,and the efforts made to elevate the level of the game, players, and coaching staff, which benefitst The Asian Football.
