The first team players of Al Wasl Club held their final training session at Al Maktoum Stadium in preparation for their match against Shabab Al Ahli in Emaar Super Cup, scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, December 13, at Al Nasr Club.

Ahead of the match, head coach Milos Milojevic spoke during a press conference held this evening at The Palace Downtown Dubai Hotel, stating: "Our preparations for this match are going normally, just like any other game. Of course, it’s a match where we can win a title, but I still believe that preparation should remain routinal, as we do for every match."

He added, "We know Shabab Al Ahli well, and they know us equally well. Therefore, I believe the team that is more determined, the team that desires to win this cup the most, will emerge victorious."

Milojevic also emphasized the readiness of Al Wasl players, saying: "I am happy to be part of this match. It’s between two Dubai clubs, which signifies the importance of football in Dubai. This game is big; it’s a derby. I know the players don’t need any additional motivation."

Team captain Ali Salmin also expressed the players' strong desire to achieve victory in the match, emphasizing their determination to win the title and make Al Wasl the first team to win the Emaar Super Cup under its new name.

He concluded by affirming that Al Wasl is focused on all competitions, not just the AFC Champions League Elite.
