The first football team of Al Wasl Club has concluded their preparations to face Baniyas at Zabeel Stadium in the first leg of the quarter-finals of the ADIB Cup, scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, December 22. As they team conducted their final training session.

In a related context, during the pre-match press conference, the team's coach, Milos Milojevic, said:"We are preparing to play two decisive matches against Baniyas in the ADIB Cup. This moment is very significant for us, especially since our performance in the league so far has not been up to expectations."

He added:"Last year, we progressed in this tournament but unfortunately exited in the semi-finals against Al Wahda. This year, our goal is to go further, and to achieve that, we must refocus and return to the basics."

He concluded his remarks by saying:"I believe that if we start doing these things correctly, we can expect a good positive result."

Player Majid Surour also spoke about the players’ preparations for the match, considering that it will not be easy, especially as it is against an organized team with good capabilities. He highlighted that the ADIB Cup's system requires the team to play with high concentration to achieve the result that qualifies it to advance to the next stage.
He stressed that the team will play seriously, as it does in all matches, and will fight to achieve victory in order to make the fans happy.
