Earlier today, our first football team’s delegation arrived at Najaf Airport in preparation for tomorrow’s match against Iraq’s Al-Shorta SC on Tuesday, November 26, at 8:00 PM UAE time in the fifth round of the AFC Champions League Elite 2024–2025.

The team conducted a training session last night at Zabeel Stadium before departing for Iraq to face Al-Shorta SC.

It’s worth noting that Al-Wasl has played four matches in the AFC Champions League so far. The team secured an away victory against Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor with a clean 1-0 score, suffered a 2-0 home defeat to Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli, defeated Qatar’s Al-Gharafa 2-1 away, and drew 1-1 at home with Qatar’s Al-Sadd.
