At Zabeel Stadium, Al Wasl, the reigning champions of the "ADNOC Pro League," secured their first win of the season, defeating their guests Deba Al Hissin 1-0 in the second-round league match. Al Wasl imposed  their attacking dominance early , with Caio Canedo opening the scoring in the 9th minute, following a precise pass from Ali Saleh, which Canedo powerfully finished into the net.

Al Wasl continued their offensive efforts through Fabio De Lima and Caio Canedo, but they were unlucky to score. 
In the second half, Al Wasl maintained their superiority, with the first chance coming from a long ball behind the defense to Caio Canedo in the 58th minute, which was cleared by Deba Al Hissin's defense. Fabio Lima then attempted a shot from outside the box, but the Deba Al Hissin goalkeeper saved it. Canedo tried to capitalize  on a follow-up inside the box, but the goalkeeper denied him again in the 63rd minute.

Deba Al Hissin relied on a defensive strategy against the continuous attacks of Al Wasl, which failed to convert more chances into goals. Ultimately, Al Wasl secured the match with a 1-0 victory, raising their tally to 4 points.
