Press Conference for the Match Between Al Wasl and Pakhtakor in the AFC Champions League

Today, after arriving in Uzbekistan, the press conference for the match between Al-Wasl and Pakhtakor, which will be played tomorrow at the Jar Tashkent Stadium, was held.

Our first-team football coach, Milos Milojevic, and player Ali Saleh spoke at the conference.

Mr. Milojevic said: "The match is difficult, and we are playing against a well-organized team that knows what they're doing. I believe their coach has a significant impact on them and is doing a great job."

He continued, "We need to play at our highest level and with enthusiasm to achieve a positive result. We respect Pakhtakor as they are an experienced team and have participated frequently in this competition. We trust ourselves and aim to represent the UAE and our club in the best possible way."

He added, "There are a few injuries in the team, but we need to focus on what lies ahead with the pressure in the coming weeks in both the league and the elite competition. Our success last season was due to a strong bench. Many players were absent during that season, but the team was not affected because of the good elements we had. Any team in the world is affected by the absence of key players, but what matters to me is the right response, discipline, and fighting spirit on the field."

He concluded, "I trust my team and have good players who can make a difference."

For his part, player Ali Saleh talked about the upcoming match against Pakhtakor, emphasizing its importance and the readiness of the players, saying: "The match will not be easy, as it is our first in the AFC Champions League. The important thing for us is to deliver a strong performance to secure the points.

Pakhtakor will be playing at home and in front of their fans, which might be an advantage for them, but this does not concern us. The team is ready for the match, and we hope to achieve a positive result."

He finished by saying: "Al-Wasl is the champion of the previous season in the UAE, and we deserve to be in this competition. Every match is important to us, and our focus now is on tomorrow’s match to secure all three points".
