Al Wasl Wins against Hatta in the last seconds

Al Wasl achieved an impressive victory over Hatta after turning his goal behind to a 2-1victory in the match that was held on Friday evening at Za’abeel Stadium, in the 15th round of the Arabian Gulf League.

The first half witnessed an average performance of the two teams, and the match was limited in the middle of the field, with a relative advantage for Al Wasl, in the 24th minute Ali Saleh, he played a wonderful pass behind the defenders to Nasser Mahmoud on the right side, to try to shoot the ball in the narrow corner, but goalkeeper Mohamed Walid, succeeded in blocking the Emperor's first real opportunity.

The two teams' attempts to impose control over the middle of the field continued, in the 39th minute, Sultan Al Manthari confronted, with a strong shot from Nahir Pisara, before he received the first goal in the 41st minute, by Brian Ramirez, taking advantage of a mistake in positioning Defines, to end the first half with a lead by one goal for Hatta.

Hellmann threw all his cards in the match, and entered Argentine Nicolas Oroz, instead of Hamad Al Balooshi, to increase the attacking intensity of the team.

In the 76th minute, Fabio Lima played a wonderful pass to Salem Al Azizi, on the right, to hit a powerful ball that was blocked by the right post, the ball rebounded to Oroz, who hit a perfect ball that passed next to the post.

The emperor's offensive attempts continued in search of an equalizing goal, which was achieved in the 82nd minute when defender Hueglo Neris was blocked in the penalty area which the referee awarded a penalty kick for “AlFhood” which Fabio de Lima scored the equalizer.

Al Wasl intensified the attacks in the last minutes of the match, and in the stoppage time, Abdulahman Saleh was obstructed, in the penalty area, so that the referee counted a second penalty kick scored by the magician Fabio de Lima, to end the match with the victory for the ”Yellows” with two goals to one and raised his tally to 23 points.
