الوصل يتلقى خسارة مفاجئة أمام الجزيرة 3 -2

Al Wasl lost to Al Jazira 3-2 in the match held at Zayed City Sports Stadium, in the 13th round of the ADNOC Pro League.

Al Wasl started the game conservatively and created a numerical intensity in the middle of the field, not to make any space available to Al Jazira players, but in the 13th minute the Emperor received the first goal from a shot from inside the penalty area shot by Khalifa al-Hammadi, who took advantage of the wrong positioning of Al Wasl defenders.

Al Wasl then intensified his attempts and almost scored the equaliser through a chance for Michel Araujo, who received a magic pass from Fabio de Lima, among the defenders of the Al Jazira, to single out the goal but slowed down to intervene the Al Jazira defender and turn the ball into a corner, and in the 25th minute Ramiro Benetti, a powerful shot from outside the penalty area, was countered by Ali Khasif, with difficulty.

With the 35th minute, Al Wasl became more in control of the game and managed to equalise through the brilliant Michel Araujo, who converted Fabio's pass from the right to a one-touch goal on ali Khasif's right, in the 38th minute, ending the first half with a positive draw.

At the beginning of the second half, the Emperor succeeded in surprising Al Jazira, and scored a second goal through Ali Saleh "Golden Boy", who took advantage of a huge defensive error from the defender of the home team, to place the ball in the net easily in the 46th minute.

With the 58th minute the emperor tightened his grip on the meeting and almost consolidated his lead with a third goal, after a wonderful team work but Araujo, wasting the opportunity in front of a near-empty goal, to keep the result yellow 2-0.

In the 74th minute, the home team managed to equalise in the 70th minute from a shot outside the penalty area, with Odier Hillman making the first of the substitutions with brazilian striker Gilberto Oliveira, instead of Mtafo Owlabi, to increase the pressure on the home owners to score a third goal.

From a quick counterattack, the home team succeeded in adding a third goal in the 80th minute through Ahmed Fawzi, to push Hillman with a second switch with the entry of Mohamed Al-Akabri instead of Ali Salemin, in an attempt to equalise, to end the meeting with a 3-2 loss.
