The training also witnessed the presence of a group of members of the Board of Directors, headed by His Excellency Ahmed bin Shafar, Chairman of the Board of Directors, to provide support to the players and the technical staff before the expected confrontation.

For his part, Serbian Milos stressed the importance of the match and praised the Sharjah team and the capabilities of its players, after their success in qualifying for the Champions League groups.

But he stressed Al-Wasl's ability to present a strong match against Sharjah, saying: Al-Wasl has the technical capabilities to present a match at the highest level, provided that we play as a team and give our best.

Milos indicated that he had not decided on Ali Saleh’s participation, stressing that he would not risk participating the player, who is considered one of the most important elements of the Panthers, before ensuring his complete readiness.

On his part, Caio Canedo explained that the team prepared well to face Sharjah, which he described as not easy, especially since it was being held on the competitor’s field among its fans. But he expressed his confidence in the Panthers' ability to deliver a strong performance and get the three points, saying: If we want to win, we have to deal intelligently. Such matches are decided by small details, and are similar to chess matches, so we must be fully focused throughout the 90 minutes.
