HE Bin Shafar attends the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship.
"HE Ahmed Mohammed Bin Shafar, the Chairman of Al-Wasl Sports Club, was present for the competitions and events of the 15th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship. He was welcomed by HE Abdulmunam Al Hashemi, the President of the UAE and Asian Jiu-Jitsu Federations and the First Vice President of the International Federation.
Bin Shafar praised the significant efforts made by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation to elevate the sport at the local, continental, and global levels, attributing the progress to leadership, guidance, and support.
He acknowledged the remarkable interest shown by various age groups in learning the art of Jiu-Jitsu and the increasing number of Emirati champions winning titles in various worldwide and continental tournaments.
Bin Shafar congratulated the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation on the successful organization of the championship, commending the competitive sporting atmosphere, exceptional organization, and professionalism witnessed in the competitions. The tournament is held at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi, attracting 7,000 participants from across 127 countries competing in various age categories."
