Al Wasl draws with kalba 1 - 1

Al Wasl lost two valuable points by drawing 1-1 with Kalba in the match that was held at Za’abeel Stadium, in the 18th round of the ADNOC Professional League.

The emperor started well and put pressure on the Kalba defenders from the first minutes, and almost opened the scoring through Ali Saleh, the “golden boy”, after he dribbled more than one defender with high skill, but hit the ball far from the goal. Kalba, who relied on counter-attacks most of the first half, tried Al-Wasl was surprised by more than one ball without the vigilance of goalkeeper Hamid Abdullah, and in the 37th minute a cross ball from the left reached defender Alexander in the penalty area, to hit a strong ball, which goalkeeper Issa Ahmed saved from the goal line, so that the negative tie remained the master of the situation between the two teams.

The second half did not differ much, but the emperor dominated the midfield, but he did not pose a real threat to Kalba's goal, until Ghanem Ahmed shook Issa Ahmed's net in the 63rd minute with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area that hit the Kalba defender. Hillman made two substitutions by entering Al-Akbri and Abdel-Rahman Saleh, instead of Ghanem Ahmed and Abdullah Khamis, in an attempt to activate the team's offensive side and score a second goal to confirm the victory.

In the 78th minute, the guests managed to score the equalizer from a strong header of Abdul Salam Muhammad, amid the absence of defensive control from Al-Wasl defenders.
