AP League Al Wasl vs Baniyas Pre-Match press conference

Odier Hillman: We go back to the League championship again after a long hiatus since the end of last season, but it was enough time to prepare optimally for the start of our career in the competition, especially since our start will be against Bani Yas, who we aspire to give the best we have in front of him and scored our first three points of the season.

Bani Yas is a strong and organized team and they struggled to win the league title last season until the last minute, and although some important players left their squad, they have a good group of good players, led by their great coach Daniel Isela.

We beat them last season at the start of the league, so hopefully we will achieve a different result this season and look optimally both individually and collectively.

Everyone's asking me about the readiness of Ali Salemin and Fabio de Lima, I think we'll know the answer to that question on Friday at 9:30 p.m.

I am satisfied with my team players and happy with the contracts we have made, the new players have adapted quickly to the team and everyone is training very well and currently we are not looking for new deals.

Our goal is to build a strong team that can compete for all tournaments in the future, so I work with each player individually to develop it and get the best out of it on the pitch.

As great as it is, it is a big club so we always strive to be in the competition, looking forward to performing better than last season and delighting our fans.

Ramiro Benetti: We respect Bani Yas team, but we will go on Friday for one goal which is to win, we have prepared well during the last period to start the league championship, all the players are excited to show their potential and give their best in the game.
