The decider is postponed to the second leg in Sharjah

The emperor's clash with Sharjah ended in a goalless draw in the match at Za'abeel Stadium in the 1st leg semi final of the President's Cup.

The emperor started the game with a defensive organization and closed the spaces on the Sharjah strikers, and relied on the qunterattack, but the team posed no real danger only through the fixed balls, which Adreylson Silva was close to exploiting one of these balls in the first quarter of the meeting, after he hit a strong header but hit the crossbar.

Sharjah, on the other hand, did not succeed in penetrating the defences, until the 40th minute and relied on the shot from outside the penalty area, in the last moments Hassan Ibrahim suffered an injury that prompted the coach Odier Hillman to make an early switch to enter Habush Saleh, to end the first half with a negative draw.

The events of the second half did not differ much, but the match became more fierce between the two teams, especially in the interventions of the players, some of which were characterized by excessive roughness, in the 89th minute Hillman makes the second switches by entering Jefferson Douglas instead of Michel Araujo, to increase the offensive capabilities of the team in the hope of snatching a deadly goal in the remaining minutes of the meeting, to end the match with a negative draw, and the identity of the qualifier to the final of the Cup of the Head of State is postponed to the second leg at Sharjah Stadium.
