At Al Maktoum Stadium, Al Wasl finished as runners-up in the Emaar Super Cup after losing to Shabab Al Ahli in a penalty shootout.

Shabab Al Ahli scored the first goal in the 47th minute through Guilherme Da Silva. In the second half, uka Milivojevic added another goal for Shabab Al Ahli.

Al Wasl narrowed the gap with a goal by Nicolás Giménez in the 58th minute, and Fabio De Lima equalized in the 96th minute, sending the match to penalties. The shootout ended 4-1 in favor of Shabab Al Ahli.
