In the fourth round of the ADNOC Pro League, at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, Al-Wasl lost to Al Ain with a score of 2-4 . 
Matías Palacios opened the scoring for Al-Ain in the 22nd minute, and Bandar Al-Ahbabi added the second goal in the 30th minute.

Al-Wasl responded with a goal by Caio Canedo in the 36th minute, and then he assisted the second goal after making a run down the left side, passing to Siaka Sidibé, who successfully found the net in the 40th minute.

Just before halftime, Kouame Kouadio scored Al-Ain's third goal in the 45+4 minute.

In the second half, Al-Wasl put pressure on Al-Ain in an attempt to cscore, but against the run of play, Sofiane Rahimi scored Al-Ain's fourth goal from a penalty kick in the 67th minute.
