In the quarterfinals of the President's Cup, at Sharjah Club Stadium, Al Wasl secured a 2-0 victory over Khorfakkan, booking their spot in the semifinals of the tournament.

The first half saw little danger for both teams in terms of attacking chances, with Al Wasl's Nicolás Jiménez opening the scoring in the 42nd minute with a precise header from a cross by Haris Seferović.

In the second half, Khorfakkan tried to narrow the gap and relied on counterattacks. However, Fabio Lima sealed the win for Al Wasl with a second goal in the 90+3 minute from a counterattack initiated by Nicolás Jiménez. He passed to Haris Seferović, who then set up Lima to finish into Khorfakkan's net, officially confirming Al Wasl's qualification.
