In an exciting and intense match, Al Wasl began their league campaign with a 2-2 draw against Khor Fakkan in the match that took place on Friday at Khorfakkan Stadium as part of the first round of  ADNOC Pro League.

Al Wasl's legendary player, Fabio Lima, opened the scoring with a shot that deceived the goalkeeper and nestled into the net in the 52nd minute. However, the home team quickly responded, with Mehdi Ghayedi equalizing just four minutes later.

Fabio Lima continued his stellar performance by adding a second goal with a low shot that the Khorfakkan goalkeeper couldn't stop, giving Al Wasl a 2-1 lead in the 66th minute. But in the final moments of the match, Abdul Salam Mohammed scored for Khorfakkan, leveling the score at 2-2 just a minute before the end.
